Call for Participant-Proposed Symposia

We are now accepting proposals for self-organized symposia.
A self-organized symposium is a session planned and coordinated by the applicant, who is responsible for determining the theme and selecting the chair, speakers, and designated discussants. Each session is scheduled to last 90 minutes.
Presentations can be delivered either on-site or via pre-recorded video.

Monday, October 5, 2026 - Friday, December 25, 2026

Eligibility

Non-members are also welcome to submit for this Congress.

Members of the societies listed below are eligible for discounted registration fees. If you would like to become a member on this occasion, please apply directly to the respective society's secretariat.

Presentation Language

Presentations can be given in either Japanese or English.
If you wish to present in Japanese, please submit your abstract via the Japanese submission page.

Process and Important Notes

1. Review & Notification

The Program Committee will review all submitted symposium proposals, and organizers will be notified of the acceptance status.

2. Abstract Submission (For Accepted Symposia)

Following acceptance, presenters within the symposium will be required to submit their full abstracts in the same procedure as general submissions.

  • Submission Period: Scheduled for approximately two weeks starting mid-February 2027.
  • Word Count Limits:Up to 720 words. (No figures/tables are accepted)
  • Further details will be provided along with the acceptance notification.

3. Notes for Non-Member Speakers

  • If you invite non-members to participate in your organized symposium, please note that the Congress will not provide any financial support, including registration fees or travel expenses.
  • All non-member speakers are required to register for the Congress and pay the registration fee.

4. Organizer Responsibility

  • The organizers shall be fully responsible for resolving any issues or troubles that may arise regarding the implementation of the organized symposium.

Instructions for Submission

  • In principle, submitted abstracts will not be proofread or edited. The text will be printed in the abstract book as entered. Please ensure all information is correct before final submission.
  • A confirmation email will be automatically sent after submission. To review or modify your submission, please log in using the Submission Number provided in the email and the password you set during submission. A confirmation email will also be automatically sent after any modifications.
  • You can review and modify your submission as many times as needed during the submission period.
  • If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam folder, verify that your email address was entered correctly, or ensure that the submission was completed. If you still do not receive it after 24 hours, please contact the Congress Secretariat at acbta@procom-i.jp.
  • Do not use the browser's "Back" button while filling out the submission form.
  • Please close the browser tab after completing your submission.
