Poster presentations
Dear DDS40 poster presenters,
We're looking forward to your poster sessions at DDS40 in July. Here are some instructions.
1. Preparing your poster and slides
- Prepare your poster as shown in the diagram to the right.
- The poster space must be 85cm wide x 205cm high.
Please write the title of your presentation, your name, and your affiliation on the top 20cm.
Please leave 20 cm square in the upper left corner for the presentation number.
The presentation number will be provided by the secretariat. - Please prepare your presentation slides in widescreen (16:9).
2. Presentation time

3. Regarding submission of presentation slide data for on-site presentation
Please submit your presentation slide data to the PC reception desk approximately half a day before your presentation.
(eg. If the presentation is on the morning of July 10th, please submit it on the afternoon of the 9th.)
4. Regarding presentation slide data
We have computers equipped with Windows 10 available at the venue.
The compatible application software is the Windows version of PowerPoint 2019 or later versions.
Please prepare using Windows 10 standard fonts to prevent garbled characters.
[English] Century, CenturyGothic, Times New Roman, Arial Keynote on Macintosh does not work.
Please embed the video data into your presentation slide data.
We will promptly delete the presentation slide data after the conference ends.
5. Regarding poster presentations
The poster session at the 40th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Drug Delivery System includes presentation and Q&A time.
Presentation time is 4 minutes, and Q&A is 2 minutes.
We organize groups of 4 to 6 speakers depending on the topic field.
There will be 9 groups on July 10th and 8 groups on the 11th.
During the poster presentation period, presenters will be divided into groups for presentations and discussions.
Each speaker will only have one presentation, either on the 10th or 11th.
Doctors who in charge of chairs are asked to moderate each group.
We look forward to a fruitful poster session and active questions, heated discussions from our audience.
6. Notes to note if you want to present on your own PC
Please set your PC's password, screen saver, power saving functions, virus software, etc. to disable them in advance.
The connection to the output connector is an HDMI terminal.
If you are using a Macintosh or a computer that requires conversion to HDMI, please be sure to bring a conversion connector.
Additionally, be sure to bring a power adapter as well.
Please save the data presented on the day on your desktop screen.
Even if you bring your own PC, please be sure to bring backup data.
After checking the operation of the PC at the reception desk, presenters should bring the PC themselves to the operator's seat at the front left of each venue.
After the presentation, the PC will be returned to the presenter at the operator's seat.
7. Regarding online presenters
- Only presenters who have been contacted by the liaison office in advance will be allowed to present online. If you have any questions regarding online presentation, please contact to the liaison office (dds40@procom-i.jp).
- Online presenters must access Zoom and wait at least 30 minutes before their presentation time.
