About the Society |

The Society of Fiber Science and Technology, Japan (SFSTJ) was founded in 1943.
The goals of the society are to foster scientific understanding and technological innovation
in the field of fibers and textiles by providing a discussion forum to the community in the field. Membership of the society is open to all scientists and engineers in the field of fibers and textiles as well as all persons who feel the activities of the society advance their professional development.
