Welcome Message

Dear colleagues,

I am greatly honored to host　the 19th Japan - Taiwan Symposium on

Obstetrical / Gynecological Ultrasound & Perinatology to be held on Sep. 25,

2009 in Tokyo.

This is a small but high-level and international conference, aiming to

encourage the exchange of new ideas, research results and experiences

concerning ultrasound, obstetrics and perinatal medicine. This conference

provides participants with up-to date clinical information and the most recent

scientific advances in this field. Fruitful discussions with experts give inspiration

and motivation for tomorrow’s research to the audience.

Another important object of this conference is to enhance cooperation and

friendship between the two countries. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet old

friends and make new friends during the conference, banquet and Karaoke

time.

In recent years, we have encountered two global crisis: economical and

environmental. Another world-wide crisis has occurred this year: swine influenza.

It is only though good human relationships with neighbors that we survive in

such depressive situations. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to

welcome you and your colleagues to this symposium in Tokyo, Japan.
