日本語版ダウンロード（PDF） 英語版ダウンロード（PDF）   　第27回日本顎変形症学会総会・学術大会を平成29年6月15日（木）、16日（金）の2日間にわたり、東京・有明（ビッグサイト TFT ホール）にて開催させていただきます。東京歯科大学歯科矯正学講座にとりまして誠に名誉なことであり、小林理事長をはじめ役員ならびに学会会員の皆様に深く感謝申し上げます。 　本学会は定款にもありますように、顎変形症についての学術研究及び教育普及活動等を行うことで、医療水準の高揚と次世代人材の育成を図り、もって国民の医療福祉の増進に寄与することを目的としております。また、顎変形症の治療を通じた医療福祉の増進とは、正常な咬合関係の構築と顎顔面形態の改善を行い、顎口腔機能の回復と社会心理的な悪影響の除去を行い、Quality of Lifeの向上に寄与することを意味します。患者様の抱える様々な病態を適切に捉え、治療成績を向上させためには、この治療に関わる医療従事者の不断の努力が求められています。本学術大会が会員諸兄の成果を発表することで、新しい知識、経験を共有する大いなる機会となることを望んでおります。 　今大会のテーマは「形態の改善と機能の回復を目指して：Aiming for the correction of deformity and the improvement of function」と題し、顎変形症治療が顎顔面領域に及ぼす効果を多くの側面から捉える機会となることを意図しました。プログラムはまだまだ、確定しておりませんが、特別講演にはジュネーブ大学歯科矯正学講座のStavros Kiliaridis教授をお迎えして、顎口腔機能に関するその深い洞察の一端を教授していただく予定です。また、教育講演として、東京歯科大学歯科放射線学講座の後藤多津子教授に、機能の画像化を含めた最新の画像診断技術の成果を解説していただく予定です。この他に、大会のテーマに沿ったシンポジウム、ランチョンセミナー、さらに会員による一般演題の発表（口演、ポスター）を予定しております。奮ってお申し込みください。なお前日６月１４日（水）には教育研修会が、大会翌日６月１７日（土）には市民公開講座が予定されています。会場は、前回までの東京・神田から離れ、メトロポリタン東京を体験できる、お台場・有明地区にあります。ゆりかもめを使い、レインボーブリッジを超えて東京の現在を実感していただければと思います。また、大会初日の６月15日（木）には懇親会（ヒルトン東京お台場）を企画しております。ぜひ参加していただき、東京湾の夜景のもと、会員諸兄の交流が深まることを期待しております。 　最後に多くの会員諸兄に御参加いただき、活発な討議が行われることを目指し、講座・医局員一同、心をこめて準備を進め、お待ち申し上げます。   平成28年７月吉日   　It is with great pleasure to welcome you all to The 27th Congress of the Japanese Society for Jaw Deformities, which is to be held for two days on June 15 and 16th, 2017 at Tokyo Ariake (Tokyo Big Sight, TFT Building). It is an honor for our department to host this congress, and I would like to thank Dr. Kobayashi the chairman of JSJD, the board of staff and all members for giving us this opportunity. 　As it is stated in the bylaw of this society, the goal is to raise the level of medical care and develop the next generation of human resources through a broad range of activities for the general public including scientific research on jaw deformities and education and public awareness programs, thereby contributing to the health and welfare of the nation. By building normal occlusion and improving dental facial morphology, it can release the negative social-psychological affect on those patients. Restoring oral-jaw function can uplift the “Quality of Life”. In order to improve treatment outcomes, perpetual effort is required of all medical staff that takes part in this treatment and to understand the conditions that the patients are in. I hope that this congress will be a platform for our members to present their effort and accomplishments, to introduce new knowledge and share experiences. 　The main theme of this congress is “Aiming for the correction of deformity and improvement of function“. It is intended give a chance to capture the implications that treatment of jaw deformities have on oral and maxillofacial area from variety of aspects. Although we are still in process of scheduling the program to make it as interesting as possible, we are privileged to have Professor Stavros Kiliaridis (University of Geneva, Department of Orthodontics), a profound scholar on oral-jaw function to give us a special lecture on the insights of this agenda. For the educational lecture, Professor Tazuko Goto (Tokyo Dental College, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology) will give us a commentary on the latest diagnostics imaging methods and imaging of function. We are having an Educational seminar on June 14th previous to the congress and an open seminar on June 17th the day after the congress. In addition to this we are planning to have symposiums, luncheon seminars, and oral/poster session by our members. Please do not hesitate to apply. 　The congress site this time is at the Tokyo Waterfront Secondary City Center or referred more commonly as Odaiba (Arikake district). It can be accessed from central Tokyo by coming across the Rainbow Bridge over the Tokyo Bay. A social gathering is planed on June 15th, on the first day of the congress, at the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. Please come and join this gathering to see old friends and make new ones with addition of a scenic night view.
