The Joint Research Task Force on Energy Efficiency and CO2 Emission Reduction in Transport announces the
International Symposium of CO2 Emission Reduction with ITS Applications. An effort, as "Development of Energy-saving ITS Technologies" of NEDO: New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, is supported by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry & the European Commission.
The Symposium will present the results of national and international co-operation in the following areas:
・ Applicable ITS applications for CO2 reduction
・ Combination of traffic simulation and emission modeling
・ Usage of probe vehicles as monitoring equipment
・ Harmonization of validation methods
・ International data warehousing of benchmark datasets
We are looking forward to fruitful discussions among international experts this autumn in Tokyo. |
