Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that the Breast Cancer in Young Women (BCYW) Foundation, in collaboration with the Japan Breast Cancer Research Group (JBCRG), invites you to participate in the 3rd International Conference on Young Women’s Breast Cancer and Health, scheduled for November 14–15, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan.
Under the theme “Co-creating the Future with Science and Compassion,” this conference advances the expanding global conversation on breast cancer in young women. This issue is intensifying worldwide, significantly affecting medical, social, and economic aspects. Following successful meetings in Lisbon and New Delhi, this third conference signifies a significant milestone by hosting the discussion in Japan and, more broadly, across Asia—a region with diverse populations, distinct disease patterns, and over half of cases worldwide.
Hosting this conference in Tokyo offers a vital opportunity to incorporate insights from Japan and Asia into the global BCYW community, fostering cross-border collaboration, shared expertise, and innovative solutions that are culturally sensitive and scientifically sound.
The conference will gather an interdisciplinary mix of breast surgeons, medical oncologists, researchers, nurses, pharmacists, breast cancer patients and their supporters, health economists, and others from Japan and abroad. It will showcase cutting-edge translational research, advances in prevention and early detection, personalized treatment strategies, survivorship issues, quality-of-life considerations, and effective advocacy and education models.
A key aim of this event is to both enhance scientific knowledge and empower young women and future generations with understanding, compassion, and resources to decrease the impact of breast cancer among young women. We seek to educate, foster connections, and motivate a worldwide network focused on improving outcomes and providing young women with vital, life-saving information.
We warmly invite you to Tokyo to share your expertise, learn from international and regional leaders, and collaborate in building a future where science and compassion unite to enhance young women’s breast health.
With kind regards,
